The founding
cohort shapes
everything
that follows.
Charter members are not the first group to join. They are the group that builds what everyone else joins — the research design, the Navigator program, the track communities, and the institutional culture that will outlast all of us.
Cohort size
25–30 members in the founding pilot cohort
Testing
Virtual J'O'C battery — approximately 4–6 hours, scheduled at your convenience after acceptance
Cost
$150–200 — subsidized institutional research rate (vs. $950 retail)
Commitment
One academic year — testing, Navigator session, track participation. Continuation voluntary.
Research
Participation constitutes enrollment in the Aptus longitudinal study under Harvard IRB protocol. Right to withdraw at any time.
Timeline
Applications close July 2026. Testing scheduled August–September 2026. Navigator sessions begin September.
Application
Charter Membership
The application is not a filter. It is the beginning of the conversation — a chance to tell us where you feel friction between what you're doing and what you might be built for.
◎
Application received.
Thank you. You'll hear from us within two weeks with next steps, including testing scheduling information. The J'O'C virtual battery takes approximately 4–6 hours and can be completed across multiple sessions.
In the meantime, if you'd like to go deeper on the science behind the 21 aptitudes, the full reference is here.
